Bernadette initially hired another contractor to replace the storm damage in her home. While the contractor was able to replace the roof, little did she know that it turned out that the contractor and her insurance company completely overlooked why the hail damage on the aluminum siding needed to be replaced. David initially reached out to us because we had just replaced many of the roofs and siding on the homes in his cul-de-sac due to a hail storm. He was wondering if his house was damaged, too.
We sent out one of our well-trained representatives to perform an initial consultation to see what the condition of his home was. We brought his roof to him by documenting the damages we discovered through short videos and great photos.
David decided he wanted us to replace his roof and filed an insurance claim.
Despite all of our documentation, the well-known insurance provider refused to pay for the roof to be replaced initially and only offered to pay us to replace some of the gutters and patch a few shingles and a skylight.
David had confidence that our initial assessment of the damages was correct based on our level of training and certifications and chose to push back. He earnestly followed the advice of one of our Public Insurance Adjusters for 6 months while they held his hand and guided him through the entire process step by step.
Eventually, the insurance company admitted the roof would leak due to the extent of the hail damage and agreed to pay for the entire roof to be replaced, along with multiple window wraps, all of the gutters, and downspouts.
David was so enthusiastic, thanks to his confidence in knowing his roof wouldn’t be at risk of leaking any longer, that he decided to share his story with his friends and neighbors, which has led to several grateful referrals for our company over the years.
